“I wanted to treat the duvets and pillows as objects in their own right. I didn’t want to stage it in an expected, homely context, but rather let it stand for itself. While unpacking, I noticed that the duvets are very compact and do not lose their shape if you roll them up or press them in at one point. I found that very interesting. This gave me the opportunity to play with the product and try out different shapes in an artistic way. In the end, I put a grain of grit over the pictures to make them appear more uniform on the one hand, but also less perfect. I found that very exciting.”
